SYNOPSIS:
The hugely anticipated second instalment in the hottest dystopian fantasy The Torch Trilogy. Who will triumph? Those with songlight, or those without?Welcome back to a world where songlight - or telepathy - is either your greatest power or your greatest curse. Elsa is on the run and is urgently seeking a safe haven.Elsa is on the run. She is no closer to finding Rye, who is crossing the ocean to a dangerous unknown. They will push every limit to get back to each other.
But Brightland is slipping into turmoil, and with the arrival of Petra and Kingfisher, mysterious Torches from far away lands, their love is tested. Kaira is held prisoner in the Capital, forced to use her songlight to aid in the political games of Sister Swan, her captor and confidante. But Kaira and Elsa's bond remains stronger than ever, and Kaira is using her position to spill the Capital's secrets and help Elsa start a revolution.
Revolution is brewing, and with survival on a knife edge, knowing who is friend and who is foe is more important than ever.
